Hello! And welcome to the Global Supply Chain Law Blog!
We are attorneys whose practice focuses on supply chain legal issues. Principally, we litigate complex supply chain disputes, but we also enjoy advising companies as to how their supply chain agreements, policies, and practices could be more robust and effective. We bring both a US and a European perspective to the law of supply chains.
In this blog, we look forward to discussing the hot global supply chain legal issues of the day. We anticipate doing some case studies, some analysis of international supply chain issues, some legal analysis, and some commentary on how we like to litigate supply chain disputes. We’re also interested in any thoughts our readers may have, so please feel free to contact us, connect with us on LinkedIn, or send us anything related to supply chains that you find interesting.
In the future, we anticipate blogging about
- The massive supply chain dispute that erupted between Apple and one of its suppliers at the end of 2014 that forced the supplier into Chapter 11 bankruptcy (hint: read our next post!);
- How best to work with engineers as witnesses in supply chain litigation;
- Why achieving greater visibility in fashion and apparel industry supply chains is likely to become an important goal for retailers and manufacturers; and
- The idiosyncratic provisions in the UCC that may surprise supply chain executives and attorneys.
Thank you for reading, and stay tuned for more!
