Last week, we had the great honor of talking with Amy Stickel at Inside Counsel Magazine about the recently filed California lawsuits based on companies’ California Transparency in Supply Chain Disclosure Act statements and/or their internal supply chain policies. With Amy, we discussed how these lawsuits arise, and what companies’ risk factors are. To be sure, companies need to make sure that their corporate policies and disclosures are drafted based on true familiarity with supply chain practices. And companies next need to make sure that their policies are enforced and that the appropriate practices are followed.
